How it all happened …
The Kostanay Industrial and Pedagogical College was created by an order of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR of August 3, 1966 No. 1323-p.
The first director was Soloviev Vasily Kuzmich.
Awarded with badges:
“Excellent worker in vocational education of the USSR”, “Excellent worker in vocational education of KazSSR”. Veteran of the Second World War. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree. Order of Glory 2 and 3 degrees, and many medals.
The first set of students was carried out on September 1, 1966.
At first we studied in the building of vocational school No. 62 (near the church), while the building of the technical school was being built. At the beginning of 1967. received agricultural equipment, launched a boiler room, and at the end of the year handed over the educational building and the canteen.
The dorm was completed in 1968.
The second director of the technical school was appointed Alexei Kuznetsov, who worked from February 1973 to September 1988 (before retiring).
During his work, training workshops were completed, a hostel No. 2 was built, a dwelling house for the college staff, and the territory of the technical school was landscaped.
Since 1977, the technical school began to train technicians – technologists of public catering, masters of industrial training for work in vocational schools.
In September 1988, as a result of alternative elections, Victor Petrovich Kolpakov was elected the director of the Kostanai Industrial and Pedagogical Technical School.
Viktor Petrovich was chairman of the Board of Directors of colleges and a deputy of the Regional Maslikhat (three convocations).
He was awarded with badges: “Excellence in Education of the Kazakh SSR“, “Excellent worker in vocational education of Kaz.SSR“.
He was awarded two Jubilee medals, in 2006 he was awarded the medal “Y.Altynsarin“, in 2012 he was awarded the order “Krmet“.
At this time the technical school already had two dormitories, a dining room, a sports hall, a ski base for 160 pairs of skis with shoes, a sports town with non-standard gymnastic equipment, a volleyball court, running tracks for 500 and 1000 meters.
To consolidate the theoretical knowledge of the specialty “Technology of cooking food” used public catering enterprises of the city of Kustanay, as well as dining pioneer camps and mechanized brigades, and to pass the production practice on the specialty “Agricultural Mechanization” all state farms of the Uritsky district were used.
On April 28, 1993 the Kostanay Industrial – Pedagogical College was reorganized into the Kostanay Industrial and Pedagogical College.
In 1996, from the village of Amankaragai, the department “Teacher of Physical Culture and CWP” was transferred to our college. And in 1997 the first set of students for this department was held.
The college conducted the following types of production activities: all types of agricultural work, transportation of goods, manufacturing of carpentry and metal products, welding works, servicing weddings, anniversaries, making confectionery, bakery and pasta, training on computers, etc.
The most significant type of production activity was the cultivation of cereals.
On January 13, 1999, the college was transformed into the State Public Utility Enterprise “Kostanay Industrial and Pedagogical College“.
A good educational and material base for the training of highly qualified specialists was created in the college.
In the college there is a qualified pedagogical team, which has more than sixty teachers and masters of industrial training, having higher education and a long work record.
In 2000 a new specialty was opened: – 0317002 “Social pedagogy“.
In 2004, new specialties were opened in the college: “Land Management” and Professional Training with the specialization “Software for Computer Engineering and Automated Systems“.
In 2005, the specialty “Professional training with the specialization” Welding production “was opened.
In 2007, the specialty “Social Work” was opened, working on the experimental curriculum, approved by the Department of Technical and Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The college conducts training and retraining of the unemployed through the employment center. About 800 graduates of the “Road map” employment program have been issued over the past period.
On May 8, 2012, the college was renamed from the Kostanay Industrial and Pedagogical College of the Education Department of the Kostanay oblast akimat in the Kostanay Industrial and Pedagogical College of the Administration of Education of the Akimat of the Kostanay region.
